General sensorineural hearing loss has the following symptoms:
- Problems with speech comprehension
- “Mumbling” and incomprehensible feeling when listening to others
- Loss of sensitivity to forward sounds in a noisy environment
- Difficulty understanding speech when listening to the phone
- Lack of sound directionality (especially high-frequency sound)
Conductive hearing loss
Conductive hearing loss: often resulted from malformation of the outer ear or middle ear structures, chronic middle ear infection, perforated eardrum, earwax obstruction, etc. Conductive hearing loss could be referred to medical experts for treatment, and the communication issue as a consequence of the untreatable conductive hearing loss can be resolved by hearing aids.

Started with special education, Dannie then studied in mainstream secondary school. Now he is studying music at the University of Hong Kong.
